Morgan was one of the actors in the documentary film Safe Sex for Men and Women that focuses on AIDS prevention as well as education. Some of the proceeds were donated to American Foundation for AIDS Research. She also serves on the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan has spearheaded numerous other fundraising initiatives for the cause and she also testified in front of a specific Congressional committee on AIDS education. Morgan is a part of the Board of Governors of APLA as well as Amfar's Board of Directors. Former Surgeon-General C. Everett Koop has requested her to be his substitute in AIDS celebrations and she's hosted an AIDS Awareness Special together with anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell interviewed Morgan twice for Nightline about AIDS. Morgan has been nominated for one of the Emmy winner for Diane English's Murphy Brown Special Episode written specifically for Morgan. Morgan was co-starring on ABC Television's Your Money or Your Wife during the spring season along with Joan Rivers. Her summer started by starring in Murder At The PTA Luncheon which was directed by Von Zerneck/Sertner. The show included Cindy Williams and Marla Gibbs. After that, she was sent to Luxembourg to film the Harmony Gold's Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee also appeared in the film. Morgan played a part in the psychological suspense thriller made exclusively by the USA Network garnering one of the most impressive ratings in the history of the network.
